Transylvania Alive's Eric De Sena was interviewed on July 28, 2015 by Ana Tudoran, host of Fapte in Balanta on Regio TV. The interview, in Romanian, traces De Sena's interests in the archaeology of Romania, and specifically, Salaj County. De Sena was invited by Alexandru Matei in 2003 to collaborate on the Porolissum Forum Project. The project, 2004 and 2006-2011, focused upon an area of the municipium of Porolissum where a forum may have been located. This year, he began a collaboration with Daniel Deac (Salaj County Museum of History and Art), Felix Marcu (National Museum of Transylvanian History), George Cupcea and Horatiu Cocis (University Babes-Bolyai, Cluj-Napoca) at a site 11 km south of Porolissum, in the village of Bozna. The site hosts an important Iron Age settlement and may have been the location of a small Roman fort or an observation tower. The interview, in 2 parts, can be viewed here: PART 1 and PART 2.
